Oookay…I love early buses. The earlier the better…and 1951 is about as early as you can get without being a first-year bus.
However…
Chrome bumpers? Never. Bumblebee paint job? Never. Wipers parked straight up? Well, maybe as 1951 didn’t have self-canceling wipers…but it looks dumb! And even though 1951 was the first year Westfalia did a camper conversion for VW, they definitely didn’t have vinyl-cut stickers attached to the fronts of those buses! For the record, kids, 1951 didn’t even have vinyl-cut stickers at all.
And just because I can…ditch the gal on the left. She looks vampy and cheap. Keep the girl on the right.
